Henri Lloyd | Viking Smock

Nearly every major label has a cagoule somewhere in it's back catalogue. From school trips to the terraces, from the mountains to the seas, cagoules are practical, stylish and timeless.

This heritage piece by Henri Lloyd is both stylish and practical whether your on a boat or on the street. It has returned time and time again in various colours. It's a great bit of kit and you can see the roots of early expedition cagoules/smocks in the design, mainly to do with sailing.

It has tapered seams for all weather protection, drawcord adjusters to the hood, waist and bottom hem. 100% windproof and waterproof, the microporous coating creates holes that are large enough to allow perspiration vapours to escape from the inside while being small enough to prevent rain getting in from the outside. To enhance the performance a repellent finish is employed on the fabric which helps shed surface water and speed up drying time, thus keeping the wearer dryer and more comfortable for longer.
