It might be cold now but looking forward to Spring/Summer 13, you will look the mutts nuts in one of these cool, funky and fresh looking shirts by Brutus.

After their hugely successful re-launch, iconic menswear brand Brutus, have delved into their historical archives and reintroduced a selection of their original prints from the 70’s. This SS13 collection sees these vintage repeat prints rise to fame for the second time around but this time on their legendary ‘Trimfit’ shirts.

Specialists Brutus have now re-kindled their global mod and skinhead fan base, whilst attracting a whole new generation of young Brutus followers and opening the doors to a broad spectrum of sub-cultures.

New Northern Soul clubs and Indie bands are popping up every day spawning a whole new generation of Brutus fans and with ‘This is England’ helping the re-birth of the Dr Martens boot has come a wave of modern skin-head fans who like their predecessors know that the Trimfit is an essential part of the look.

Vidur

This evening we're giving you an introduction into a menswear brand with a difference, Vidur. The brand is based in London and was founded just after New Year's Day 2012, so they're coming up one year old. Richard who represents one half of the brand was in Iceland at the time , and I quote him when I say this "as always when a new year comes round you look forward as well as back, and ironically I feel this is what our garments represent (contemporary but still timeless)".

Vidur is influenced by the simplistic, fundamental nature of Nordic design and it's emphasis on the durability and authenticity of natural materials, Vidur (derived from the Icelandic word for ‘wood’) design menswear that is elemental, functional and enduring. This drives their design philosophy: a focus on form, fabric and workmanship in order to create timeless but contemporary garments.
